When I first became acquainted with the blog world, I was instantly hooked! I love to write, because it helps me to organize my thoughts. It is the way I process and learn; so blogging seemed to be a natural fit for me. My first foray into blogging occurred when I attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School to pursue my Masters in Religion. I promise you I read about 6 books a week during that time! Keeping track of all the information I was taking in was a daunting task. Blogging was my saving grace, especially when it was time to put together those dreaded papers that every professor loves to read!

Since finishing at Trinity in 2006, I have been going through a transformation. I seem to have a deeper understanding everyday of why the Lord led me to seminary and even what He desires that I do with this gift of theological education that He has provided for me. I have since returned to the work world, but I feel that my “ministry” has only just begun. Living and working in what we like to call the “secular world” has allowed me to utilize my degree in ways I never imagined. It has led me to the conclusion that we as Christians must be much more serious about our faith than we are currently.

I did not begin this blog with a set purpose in mind – it was simply a way to document my thoughts. If you backed me into a corner and forced me to name a purpose it would simply be seeking to bring the truth of God’s Word to bear on every aspect of my life.
